If im in the delayed entry program for active duty can i switch to the reserves?

im іn thе delayed entry program fοr thе marines аnd im signed up fοr active duty саn i switch tο thе reserves? аnd іf уουr іn thе reserves dο уου gеt insurance?

    I know that in the Navy DEP you can switch programs if you like but you may have to change your job. I don’t think it will be that much different in the Marines.

    Also in the reserves you only get insurance if you are in Active Duty Status.

    If you want to switch to reserves you better do it before you leave for bootcamp, because after that you’re pretty much screwed. There are insurance options for the reserves though, tricare dental etc.

    im purrty sure. cause i know someone who went from reserves to active while in DEP, so i dont see why not the other way around since you’re only a DEPper right now. talk to your recruiter soon if you want. your recruiter may even be in tomorrow cause they’re supposed to work everyday, i think including weekends. so try giving him/her a call.
